The Public meeting was called to order by Mayor James D. Friend @ 6:00 PM.
Present: Mayor James Friend, Council Members: Colby Jett, Myla Thorpe, Mark Younkin, Recorder: Melody Gray, Amberly Taylor, City Clerk,
Guests: Jim Musgrave
Prayer: A moment of silence was observed.
Pledge: Led by Mayor Friend.
Jim Musgrave: The only concerns he may have now is with the State Government. Are they going to raise the taxes?
Everybody had a copy of the rough draft of the 1% Sales Tax Ordinance to read.
Myla Thorpe made a motion to accept the first reading of the ordinance. Colby 2nd the motion. The Mayor asked for a vote. Myla Thorpe and Colby Jett voted for the motion. Mark Younkin vote against. Motion carried.
Colby Jett made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mark Younkin seconded the motion. Unanimous approval.
Meeting adjourned at 6:05 PM.
