The Doddridge County EDA held their October Meeting on Thursday, October 26, 2023, Meeting at 6:00 pm Commission Room, Doddridge County Courthouse
The meeting was called to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was led Lowell Bee.
Attendees were : Lowell Bee, Dave King, Ronnie Travis, Isaac Richards, Lowell McAfee, Greg Cottrill, Cindy Welch, Theresa Knight, and Jennifer Wilt
Minutes: Minutes from the June 2023 meeting were presented. Isaac Richards made a motion to accept the minutes as presented. Ronnie Travis Seconded Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Report was presented. Isaac Richards made a motion to accept as presented. Lowell McAfee seconded. Motion carried.
General Account – $45,151.21
Broadband Account – $1,066,290.38
Committee Reports: None
Director’s Report: Director gave a brief update on water projects and possible development sites.
New Business: The Nominating Committee recommended that board members whose terms were set to expire in January 2024 be renewed for another year. No other nominations were presented, Greg Cottrill made a motion to approve Bee, Cottrill, Gola S, Kimball, McAfee, Harvey, Brunetti, D. Kimball, and Taylor as board members with terms set to expire in January 2025
In mid-2024 a revised slate of board members will be presented to the Commission for approval. Frost Brown Todd working on paperwork.
Isaac Richards made a mothion to adjourn at 7:35 pm. Greg Cottrill seconded it. Motion carried.
