Connie Wetzel
Connie Jo Wetzel, 63 of Bristol passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born June 17, 1960 in Sardis, daughter of the late Bernard Paul Ash and Wilma Jo Ferguson Ash. Connie attended Liberty High School. She enjoyed collecting red trucks, doing diamond art paintings, playing games and cards with the grandkids. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. Connie is survived by her husband of forty years, Barry Dean Wetzel whom she married July 4, 1983; two children, Barry D Wetzel Jr and companion Joanna Ellis, Ashley D Wetzel and Matthew Williams, all of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Adalynn, Brayden, Colten, Camron, and Paisley; one brother, Jeffrey Ash and wife Valerie, Nutter Fort; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Ash Gaines. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, Salem is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Wetzel family.
