Linda S. Jewell
Linda S. Jewell, age 77 of Pennsboro, WV departed this life on Sunday, January 21, 2024 surrounded by family at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 2, 1946 the daughter of the late Kermit W. Jones and Estalee Ross May.
Linda was a graduate of Pennsboro High School with the class of 1964 and spent most of her years working at the local doctor’s office for the late R.A. Humphrey and retired when working for F.A. Humphrey.
Linda enjoyed life on the farm, having gatherings at the cabin with friends and family over the years, baking for her family, UTV rides and spoiling sweet Stella.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Max Jewell, her devoted daughter Angela DeMoss (Alan), her precious granddaughter, Melinda McBride (Zach), the light of her life her great granddaughter, Stella June McBride all of Pennsboro, WV, and her special nephew, Michael T. Hall, Jr. “MT” (Erika) and family Trayton, Cooper, and Harper all of Ellenboro. Linda’s family was her world and she was always showing or telling us how much she loved us. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her best friend and sister Charlotte A. Hall, and step father, Junior May.
A memorial service will take lace at 3pm, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at McCullough Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV. Visitation will take place 1-3pm prior to the service.
