Letter to the Editor

June 8, 2023

Dear Editor,

Recently while dining at a local restaurant I was wear sidearm in open carry mode. One or two individuals continuously stared at the gun.

This is West Virginia after all. Firearms, for one reason or another, are a part of life. If someone is insecure at the sight, that is their issue. Not mine. Staring is as disrespectful, as ridicule. Grow up!

Well the prejudice democrat party is again persecuting former President Trump.

President Joe Biden is as guilty as anyone but the double standards of the the current administration will not equally apply the law. “If it weren’t for double standards the democrat leadership would have no standards at all”. Because of that statement I don’t vote Democrat.

Biden is, as far as I’m concerned, guilty of bribe taking, his actions, opinions and executive orders are contradictory to the will and well being of our citizenry. He is attempting to rule not govern. To rule, one would exercise absolute power and authority. To govern, is to guide for benefit and protection of the masses.

Examples:

Trump started the southern border wall. Biden opened the floodgates for mass invasion of illegals.

Trump opened the way to lower fuel prices. Biden shut down the pipelines.

Like HIM, Trump, or not, he was good for our country. Lower prices, stability in foreign affairs. Secured borders.

Well, the court of King Biden has indicted Donald Trump. Trump is indicted for classified documents in his home. However President Biden has had classified documents found in several places and the F.B.I and the D.O.J. fear the Biden regime so they turn a blind eye to the broken laws.

Biden couldn’t hit his butt with both hands.

I watch the situations on the news and see how to obscure the important stories and news by injecting topics more emotional to distract from the real news.

As I have stated before, they, the Dems keep Trump in the news and keep trying to discredit him, the more they advertise him. Thank you Democrats. I’ll vote for because, like him or not he is right as in correct.

Well, we have been in our house now less than two months. The new refrigerator crapped out. I tried the get the maker to warranty service but those people are as lost as last years Easter Eggs. They have no service techs in this area. None of their registration of warranty processes worked.

I would bet that they have a computer program to call them each morning to remind them to go to work. I could here the phone call now. “Good morning this your wake notification. If you are awake, press one, “if you wish to over sleep, press two.” “Your are caller fifteen in the cue”.

If you’re awake, press three”.

“If you have brewed your coffee, press four”.

This is just a stupid rendition of the crap you have to go through to get “service”.

Needless to say, I cannot recommend the maker  as a replacement appliance.

A side note, I have a thirty year old MagicChef that works perfectly. the maker is an Electrolux Company in Sweden, manufactured in Mexico and can’t be serviced locally by the company. Go figure.

However, the president of place I purchased my home from was contacted, the situation was explained. A tech was at my house within a couple of days. Diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed parts and back in business. A compliment to the Middletown Homes President and Shannon’s in Clarksburg for the quick action.

For the military I wish to honor them for their service.

To our various police agencies thank you.

For the first responders thank you.

And to our medical professionals another thank you.
