Garrison Mathis Mayle
(also known as GareBear or G)

It is with broken hearts that we announce Garrison Mathis Mayle (also known as GareBear or G) left this earth Sunday, September 11, 2022 at only 17 months old, born April 2, 2021 to Lucas & Brittany (Ash) Mayle.

GareBear loved to “Ride Ride Ride” in his sideXside with his dad & mom since he was 5 months old. He was fearless.

Garebear had a smile that would light up a room, he loved everyone & everyone loved him, you just wanted to squeeze & kiss his cheeks. His family is so grateful for the short time they got to love him. His spirited energy brightened every place he went to, and every person he touched. His laughter & smiles will be forever embedded in our hearts.

Garebear is widely known through daily videos & pics posted on Facebook. We have all watched him grow from a baby to a toddler, and witnessed his first experiences & reactions, along with some playtime.

He was a magnet to mud puddles, loved music & loved to dance, a great hugger and the best little helper, jabbering all the time. He loved working with dad, whether it was working underneath a car or working on his sideXside. He would watch, then mimic his parents actions. He loved helping his mom take care of their dogs & play with all the puppies. He could be found working around the farm with his parents sporting only his Baltic Amber teething necklace & sandals. He loved spending nights at the grandparents, of course.

He was preceded in death by: paternal- grandfather Robert Joe Mayle, great-grandparents Lloyd & Teresa Mayle, great-grandmother Linda (Nan) Jordon, and great Uncle Randy Jordan; and maternal- great-grandfathers Bryan Ash & Roger McClain, step great-grandmother Catherine Travis, great aunts Angela & Amber McClain; and a special cousin to Brittany, and a best friend to Lucas, Gordon Swiger, whose funeral is where they met.

Left to  cherish his memories are: maternal- grandparents Papaw Bryan & Mamaw Ronda Ash; great-grandmothers Guilda Ash & Mary Glaspell; Aunt Marla & Uncle Tim Landis, and cousins Claude, Jason & Chloe; and paternal- grandparents Mimi Susan & Pappi Lee Conner. great-grandfather Pap Gary Jordon.
