Willard Michael Stout

Willard Michael Stout, 74, of Ellenboro, (Ritchie County) departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg. He was born on December 29, 1947 at Greenbrier Rd. Doddridge County a son of the late Edward and Willadeen McClain Stout. He is survived by his wife Wanda Perkins Stout. 

Also surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth Stout, AZ, Jami Stout, Circles Pines, MN, Angie Toothman, Abbingdon, VA, Megan Perkins, Charleston, one son, Jeff Stout, MD, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Joseph Stout and three brothers. 

Mr. Stout was a former employee of Ford Motor Company, Detroit, MI . He was a retired truck driver with 45 years service. Willard was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran serving during Vietnam Conflict. 

Graveside service will be conducted in the W.V. National Cemetery, Pruntytown on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with full military rites being accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guards. Brandon Underwood

Brandon Underwood, 41, of Clarksburg departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport.  He was born on October 31, 1980 at Wooster, OH, a son of Donald Underwood, Salem and Rebecca Carpenter, Salem. 

Also surviving is two brothers, Stephen Kaiserling (Alana), Jacksonville, Fl, Justin Underwood (Mercy),Morgantown and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Michael Underwood and one sister, Kristal Dawn Meher.

Brandon was employed by Byards Pharmacy as a delivery driver.  He enjoyed all sports.  Brandon was a loving son and brother and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Allen presiding.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel after 1:00 p.m. on Friday until time of service.  Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.harbertfuneralhome.com.  Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Underwood family

Leon Boyce

Leon Boyce, 76, of Center Point departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on September 27, 1945 at Center Point a son of the late Robert Marshall and Bonnie Swiger Boyce.  He is survived by his wife Susan Kessler Boyce.

Also surviving is three daughters, Melissa Lamb, Grafton, Crystal Mollohan, Wheeling, Tina Swisher, West Union, five sons, J.R. Boyce (Lynn), West Union, Kirk Boyce (Muriel), Wolf Summit, David Schmidt, Seattle, WA, Mark Boyce, Center Point, Matt Reed (Julie) Center Point, four sisters, Carol Ann Benjamin (Neil), Bend, OR, Nila Specht (Joe), Fredericksburg, OH, Robin Baker (Marty), Clarksburg, Barbara Sue Robinson (George), NC, one brother, Kevin Boyce (Edna), West Union, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one great grandson, three brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Boyce was a former employee of China Grove Cotton Mill, NC and Ford Motor Company in Apple Creek, OH as a Mechanic.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.  Leon was an avid CB operator and enjoyed riding his dune buggie, as well as fishing, hunting, playing card games and sitting around a fire with friends and family.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
