Doddridge County Commission Meeting 

The Doddridge County Commission President, Shawn Glaspell  called the Commission’s May 3rd Meeting to order at 4:02PM in the basement of the DC Courthouse. All members were present. 

The Commission approved the past minutes as presented by County Clerk, Catee Slater. 

The Commission opened the one bid received for the security and networking systems for the New Annex. They accepted the bid of $76,455.63 from JB Services. 

David King, CoW, reported the red iron is up on the New Annex, cinder block walls are being put up, Plumber to begin the next day. There is a damp spot that has not dried out and a French drain will need to be installed, as well as a dam spot in the driveway where some old cement is located that will be required to be  dug out ad refilled.  (Photos on Page 6) 

The Commission approved the Poll Workers’ list for the 2022 Primary Election. 

There were no Floodplain Reports. 

Under the OEMS, George Eidel reported He had held the 1st reading of the new LEPC By-Laws at the last meeting, had attended a broadband Round Table, and DEP had been called on a Brine Spill on Elliot Road. 

Neal Romain reported the DCAA has a balance of $409,839.90 balance in the bank and had the income of $23,304.81 in the month of April. 

He was asked about the drains being installed and concrete being poured at their DCAA station. He responded remainder of the concrete is to be run soon. 

Beth Kellar presented 2 budget revisions — an inhouse revision moving $2000 to supplies and transferring$13,000 from Annex funds to Annex Funds.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:20 to sign bills.
