I looked up the three words in the title of the “Disinformation Governance Board”
Disinformation is false information intended to mislead. ”If you like your Doctor you can keep your Doctor” Barack Obama. That statement was not entirely correct. You could only keep your Doctor if you were rich enough to afford using Doctors out of the “network”. The same was true with health insurance.“MISINFORMATION” to mislead to get support for Obamacare.
President Joe Biden claims the problems with inflation, fuel prices, supply line issues, crime on the rise, the southern border crisis are the fault of Putin. Again, MISINFORMATION because most of these problems manifested themselves after the execution of Biden’s policies and Executive Orders and before Putin initiated his move on Ukraine.
Nina Jankowicz, has been appointed to the Disinformation Governance Board. She said the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian Disinformation. She claimed the laptop was “Trump campaign product” and suggested it was a “Russian influence op.”
And she is going be in charge of the truth!!! Your truth. Talk about the Fox in the henhouse!
The definition of Board certified is one meets the qualifications that has been approved by an official group.
The official group being Biden, Mayorkas and that ilk.
These people think we are stupid. They think some of us can’t see this garbage for what it is. Suppression through Board regulation. The lefty’s do not like Elon Musk buying Twitter and promoting free speech. So “the Board” can monitor, regulate and limit “free speech” to their side.
This will bring a lot of civil lawsuits to the courts for determination of first amendment violations. But when does the left care about the constitution? Only when it suits their ideology. Or when they need a twisted regulation against WE the people. Like the Disinformation Governance Board.
(This board sounds like political leaders going into executive session unnecessarily. I wonder who would do that? Boards who do not want debate?)
Ironically the people on the “Disinformation Governance Board” are the ones who feed us the “disinformation”.
I wonder, if in November 2022 elections if the House and Senate change from liberal to conservative, will those on the board now who may abuse their positions will be fired, impeached or better yet, arrested and jailed for abuse of power against the First amendment, freedom of speech and the American citizens.
I’m not sure Mayorkas has thought this through completely. He needs to be careful dealing with Elon Musk because Musk does have enough money to take Mayorkas and his ilk to court. And Musk already has a following.
What escapes the left is they and we have the right of freedom of speech. But with privilege of freedom of speech comes responsibility. The responsibility is to protect the right of the opposition to speak there piece wether you agree or not. They don’t honor their responsibility.
It seems coincidental that this “new” board announcement is an immediate response with the Elon Musk’s twitter purchase.
Anyway, as usual, I wish to acknowledge those who secure us, protect us, ready to serve us and take care of us.
