It has been reported the lack of computer chips from China is a problem in the production of new vehicles.
What was wrong with the systems before we needed 80 plus computer chips per vehicle?
I had a 1966 Buick Electra 225 in 1974 that properly tuned would get 16 mpg with the 445 Wildcat engine. No computer, just breaker points readily available in any auto parts store. The car weighed 4255 lbs, as much as some of the pickup trucks of today.
I tuned that car once per month and that weight wagon ran so well.
Today we rely on computer chips to govern the body, the body control module.
I had an experience with the body control module failure in a 2017 f150. The control module would turn on the headlights for no reason. One weekend the headlights were activated and the truck was sitting in the driveway. I turned off the lights and a half hour later they were on again. That weekend the malfunction drained the battery twice.
To get the new control module took 5 days.
What was wrong with, start the vehicle, turn on lights manually, when you parked and turned off the ignition the warning for headlights went ding ding ding?
We did not need a control module. That aggregating ding ding ding was enough to remind to turn off the headlights.

A report today stated Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is pressuring Joe Biden go further left and to use Executive Orders to “force” submission to her socialist agenda. To just win in November.
You can call her what you wish, left wing, Democrat, socialist, progressive, liberal.
I personally believe her to be a communist.
She would, to achieve her agenda, force you and I into submission with no concern for the people she is supposed to represent. She is no better than the criminals.
Her actions are contrary to the oath she took when sworn into office.
Her actions today makes an enemy of America. She would suppress your rights for her own benefit.
If she wanted to help with the November elections she should look at the problem on the southern border. Try to push Biden in the opening the oil and gas fields to increase production and lower the inflation, fuel prices, grocery shortages and price increases. That would cause her/their base to be stronger. But force is what she and her cronies know best. Ask Omar, Bush, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
With the southern border invasion initiated by señor Biden I thought I would work on my Spanish.

Anyway, sarcasm aside, he has released 1,000,000 barrels of oil from the strategic oil reserve. That’s only a drop in the bucket. America uses approximately 14,000,000 barrels a day.
Open the darn drilling and pipeline operations or get the devil out of the way!!!
He has no compassion for the little people. It’s probably a good thing I can’t run for his office. A wise man once said, “revenge is a dish best served cold”.
That man would find out how cold I could be. Lock down any and all funds and charities associated with him. Make him fend as we have to fend for our daily bread.
Take away his secret service detail and make him “buy a shotgun”.
Make him travel in an electric vehicle. That would limit his range. Make him buy his own transportation and pay his own power bill with limited funds available. Maybe we could get him a good paying job at Walmart. They hire señors and seniors and physically challenged or impaired.
I Can picture him as the Walmart greeter. Stuttering , stammering tripping over his own words and his speech writer having to walk back his verbal Faux pas’s.
I have a tendency to question things, as you probably gathered if you have read much of my letters.
I wonder why our fearless leaders are so bent on playing by the worlds rules yet our own rules and laws are twisted tighter than a box of pretzels.
They are criminal dignitaries yet allow our laws and rules to be broken by politicians, illegal aliens and criminals.
Then our fearless leaders expect us to bare the cost and the inflicted pressures.

It occurred to me listening to el presidente to blame Putin for our inflation, our high fuel prices and anything else Biden screws up.
Would You say Biden is “pootin” on Putin?
El presidente has another gaf. Again, he said by going solar power for your home you can save $500.00 per month. If that were the case and everyone went solar electric for home power the government would tax us for their revenue loss. The new tax would have a catchy name like “the going green tax”, or the “doing what we wanted you to do tax”. How about the “your forced compliance tax”. That would be the same as the total electric vehicle $200.00 per year registration to compensate the state fuel tax loss.
Resign yourself to the fact the government is not going to suffer the loss of revenue without you and I paying to make up for it some other way.
We cutback fuel usage and the federal government loses $.53 per gallon gasoline tax for unsold fuel. A new tax would be inflicted on the citizens to make up for the loss. The only way to make the loss up is a mileage tax implemented on everyone.
If you buy an electric vehicle you pay extra for the government loss of fuel tax. At the same time the government gives tax incentives for electric vehicle purchase. Who makes up the difference and how. “They” never tell you that part.
369,000,000 gallons (three hundred sixty nine million gallons) per day of gasoline is reportedly used.
At $.53 per gallon federal tax, the loss due to conservation of fuel would be one hundred eighty million dollars of lost tax revenue daily. That’s if we go 100% electric vehicle travel.
Hey! How about Disney? What was the Wonderful World of Disney, is now the Wondrous World of Woke!
The Disney woke leaders have read into the Florida bill what is not there.
And the Academy Awards spokes persons had to make a spectacle of themselves by saying gay, gay, gay. That was mature. They had not read the bill either.
Their argument is so superficial.
I agree with Desantis about teaching children 5 years old who don’t need to question their gender identity.
This may confuse the child through the “normal” sexual development phase later causing mental issues.
As an individual develops through the formative years the appeal and choices should be natural not imposed on them as they are little more than infants.
We thought it cruel to bind female children’s feet in China.
However, it’s okay to restrict the normal developmental process of children in kindergarten through adulthood? Is that not binding the mind’s development?
Teachers heterosexual, gay or other should be teaching reading, writing, arithmetic computer skills, social skills, not bend the mental development of children to the teachers lifestyle preference.
What’s next? Teach kindergarten students to be woke?

Biden announced he wanted the D.O.J. To prosecute Trump.
Biden can’t stand Trump’s success with the American people. Biden fouled up everything his has touched. Now, Biden wants the D.O.J. to stop paying attention to Hunter and attack Trump.
I’m sure there will be more to come.
Anyway, as a good Deplorable, I’m going to finish watching the Michigan Trump Save America Rally.
