Pray for the Poor People
I Probably procrastinated putting my personal perspective into the paper, but now I’m “P” owed!
Because the present package of politicos is poised to punish the public.
How? – With their pathological pursuit of personal power and Profit! They pretend to promote the peoples’ priorities, but they proffer policies that prolong our problems. The proclaim but fail to produce properly for the weary public while the promise their prosperous peerage, prolongation of patronage!
This painful picture where here portrayed is producing a piqued populace, psyched up for a permanent permotation of the path and pattern of our politics!
We’re tired of prevarication by the pharisees in power. No more procrastination; give us the played-out proletariat, our promised land of peace, prosperity and probity!
I’m a once Pro Democrat and a once Pro Republican, and a once hopefully waiting citizen. I’m still waiting, waiting to realize the founders vision for this nation, waiting to see what so many veterans sacrificed so much for.
Is this too much to ask?

John Michels.

Dear Editor,

The January 6, 2022 speech given by the uninformed president blamed Trump and inferred the Trump supporters are at war with democracy. What a pile of garbage.

When describing him and his stupidity it deserves every expletive in my vocabulary.(May the flees of a thousand camels infest his armpits)

A minor sized unarmed group invaded the capital last year and anyone who has a different opinion than the Democrats is an insurrectionist, seditionist anti government, white supremest and racist. What a crock of deification. But that is the democrat way.

Screw things up and blame someone else and alienate an entire group of people. Case in point you white supremest, privileged, homophobic, racist. That’s what the Democrats call people who disagree with them.

I’m proud to be a deplorable! I’m glad not to be a absent minded, big feeling derelict.

The southern border is Trump’s fault. God forbid anyone should have analyzed that plan prior to execution of stopping the wall construction and stopping the invasion.

According to Biden, the debacle in Afghanistan was planned by Trump therefore it’s Trump’s fault. According to the White House.

God forbid anyone should have analyzed that plan prior to execution.

Don’t even think about covid. The lack of planning for test kits on Biden’s part is unforeseen. He had not signed the contract with the provider? I’m not a businessman, but I know not to trust this fool’s word or promise.

Biden shut down jobs through mandates. I don’t think the constitution gives the president the authority to enact mandates on the citizens without congressional action. Yet he boosted his employment rate is on the rise. How do you lay off thousands because of non compliance of the unconstitutional mandates and still have a positive increase in employment numbers?

He has it in his head that he is King. Inflicting his will on the public indiscriminately. He wants to run in 2024. What a freaking joke. If his hands were tied behind his back, he couldn’t hit his butt with both hands. (I’ll bet you just tried it!)

What does he have to run on, pipeline, southern border, supply line interruptions, unemployment, positive covid results, covid test kit availability, Afghanistan, and wait for it……Inflation…. ta-da!!!!

All hail King Biden !

Vice President Kamala Harris said January 6, 2021 was as bad as the bombing of Pearl Harbor 1941, September 11, 2011. She has problem discerning the magnitude of events.

During the snow bound I95 shutdown Vice President Kamala Harris praised the infrastructure bill benefit. People were spending up to 30 hours in their cars waiting for relief. She is so out of touch with reality it’s appalling.

On more pleasant note I wish to pay homage to our four legged friends, our pets.

I was fortunate at one time to have been chosen by a puppy only a few weeks old which wandered to my remote residence on the top of a mountain in Pendleton County.

I was sitting on the front stairs at the front door when he appeared. He climbed to the top of the half mile driveway and when he arrived at the end of the parking lot he sat watching me.

I noticed him and spoke to him. He wagged his tail. He was so small he was barely a handful. As I spoke to him he seemed to respond. After a short time he turned and walked down the driveway.

The next evening while sitting after the day’s activities the little fur ball showed again. This time as I spoke I also called for him to came closer. I went to the kitchen and brought out a hot dog. He consumed the small pieces of hot dog I gave him, eating from my hand.

This had become the nightly routine.

Eventually he did not leave and was always excited to see my arrival from work.

We played tug of war with the cut off leg of some old blue jeans. He was relentless.

We became more and more attached with each other. He did not travel well at all. Car sick was the norm when going anywhere.

But that was his only short coming.

He demonstrated a sense of humor in his playfulness.

One time I was under the vehicle working on the exhaust. I laid my wrench behind my head as I lay under on my back.

When I needed the wrench I reached back over my head to retrieve the wrench and it was gone. As I turned to find my wrench I noticed the rascal under the bumper with my wrench in his mouth like a bone. I swear I still believe he was smiling!

I climbed from under the vehicle went to retrieve my wrench and he ran.

Eventually he allowed me to catch him. He gave up the wrench. I took the blue jean rag shook it and the tug of war was on. He just wanted to play.

One time he came back from chasing a rabbit, which he often did, this time limping. He had a sore paw. Well I laid him on his back to check the paw and found a pad split. When I open the pad I saw the 3/4” locusts thorn deeply buried in the paw.

I went to first aid kit to get what I needed to remove the thorn.

I used my leatherman needle nose pliers to open the pad and grasp the end of the thorn. He squirmed a little but never growled once. When the thorn was pulled out of the wound it almost seemed a expression of relief was in his eyes and on his face. From then on I could do no wrong by him. He was well behaved and listened to my commands as though he understood each word.

He was my best friend up to the point he was killed by a car. I miss my friend. He’s been gone for more than twenty years now but I still morn the loss. Buckwheat, you were then and still are an unforgettable part of my life. I write this as a positive note. I believe our furry friends should be honored for the contribution to our lives.

As with the respect I have for my friend of long ago pay my respects as usual to the people who serve to secure our freedom, the military. To the various police agencies thank you. Our first responders should never be forgotten. The same for the medical professionals thank you.
