Arlene Jean Lawson 78, of West Union departed this life on April 9, 2021 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born in Doddridge County on July 13, 1942 a daughter of the late Creed H. and Sylvia Johnson Jones.
Surviving are one son Dennis Griffin Sr., Salem grandchildren, Dennis Griffin Jr., Sam Griffin, Josh Griffin, Amos and Teah Echard, sisters, Betty McCombs, Bristol, Mary Randolph, Clarksburg, brothers, Larry Jones, Jennings Jones, both of West Union. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sons, Donnie Craig Griffin, Robert Daniel Griffin, Randy Gene Griffin, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Arlene was a former employee of Myles Manufacturing as a seamstress and had worked for the Doddridge County Senior Citizens. She attended Morgan’s Run E.U.B. Church. Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family and going to yard sales.
