Homer “Junior” Curtis Brooks, Jr, 64 of West Union passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born April 12, 1956 in Parkersburg, son of the late Homer Curtis Brooks Sr and Bessie Lee Jones Brooks.
Junior graduated from Pennsboro High School, Class of 1976 and also became a certified welder. He worked several years in construction. Junior attended Real Life Ministries in Greenwood, WV. He enjoyed camping at cedar creek in Glenville, hunting, fishing and going to 4-wheeler races to watch his son Josh.
Junior is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Joan Adams Brooks whom he married January 9, 1982; one son, Joshua Curtis Brooks and Alexander of Cambridge, MD; two grandsons, Ezra Curtis Brooks and Joshua Slaughter; three siblings, Larry Brooks and Ellen, Parkersburg, Susie Davis and Mike, Washington, WV, and Kim McCloy and Randy, Ellenboro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Butcher and one sister in infancy, Charlotte Amanda Brooks.
