Reports: Superintendent’s Update: Superintendent Cheeseman reported to the Board according to the statewide COVID mapping Doddridge County returned to “gold” status today which means school attendance will return to the blended model next week. He also updated the Board on the CEFP Public Comment Meeting to be held December 21, 2020 at the BOE Offices at 11:00 a.m.
DCHS LSIC/Faculty Senate Annual Report: Katrina White, DCHS Principal, presented the annual DCHS LSIC/Faculty Senate Report highlighting the COVID precautions in place at DCHS, summer virtual teacher training sessions, 26% of DCHS students are participating in virtual learning, and a video presentation of OCHS activities. Sandra Kimball, DCHS Faculty Senate President, presented a demonstration of remote learning/ virtual class participation with DCHS students.
