Okey Floyd Jones Sr. 79 of Salem, WV passed away on September 27, 2020 as a result of a vehicle accident in Jarrell, Texas. Okey was born in Brown, WV on October 26, 1940, the son of the late Okey Darrell Jones and Elizabeth Ruth Backus Jones.
Okey is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ledora Helena Shreve Jones, one son Okey Floyd Jones Jr. of Salem, two daughters Rebecca Holt; husband Mark of Salem, Brenda Melott of Clarksburg, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one brother Harold V. Jones of Wallace, three sisters; Barbara Poling of Union City, Ohio, Ruby Allen of Ithaca, Ohio, Emma Kennedy; husband Randy of Union City, Ohio and one special nephew Raymmy Jones; wife Melissa of Union City, Ohio. Okey was a US Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents Okey is proceeded in death by one daughter, Tiny Jones, four brothers John, Raymond, Edmon and Donavan Jones.
