Pamela Cain Taber

Pamela Cain Taber, 69 of Salem passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.  She was born in Clarksburg on July 31, 1951 a daughter of the late Roy Everett Cain and Mildred Humphrey Cain Dodd.  On February 14, 1986 she married her best friend Alfred Taber who survives.

   Together they raised six children, John Grothe, Jr. and his wife Kris, Danville, VA, Tracie Davis and her husband Stan, Salem, Laura Blake and her husband Mike, LasVegas, NV, Kelly Hyatt and her partner Matt , Bridgeport, Michael Taber and his fiancé Harley, Folsom, Nicholas Taber and his wife Samarra, Clarksburg, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, siblings, Mavis Johnson, Clarksburg, Carol Sue Keavney, Salem, Sandra Kay Richards, Fairmont Robert “Bobby” Dodd, Laurel Park, her dear friend, Tammy Miller, Clarksburg,  Pam was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Roger Lee Cain, Raymond Eugene Cain and Roy E. Cain Jr. 6 sisters, Marie Swiger, Betty Stanley, Patricia Findley Stalnaker, Ruth Ellen Cain, Freda Riley, Rita Elaine Currey.

   Pam was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her generosity, kindness, loyalty and witty sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

   Private interment was in Stonewall Park Cemetery, Stonewood.  A celebration of her life will be announced later at the convenience of the family.  Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.harbertfuneralhome.com.  Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Taber family.
