Ernestine M. Cox, 83, of New Milton, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Dayton Hospice House in Dayton, OH.
She was born August 29, 1936 in Wolf Pen, WV a daughter of the late Ernest and Violet (Guthrie) Kelley. She spent her career as a loving and caring homemaker for her family. She greatly enjoyed shopping, was an excellent cook, and selling Avon. Ernestine was active and much involved with the March of Dimes.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Wright of Fairmont, WV; Kevin Perine of West Union, WV (Grove Summers community), and Eric Perine of Hillsboro, OH; grandchildren, Ashley Wright, Benny Pinto, Jason Perine, Erica Perine, Joseph Perine, and Kevin Perine, Jr.; great grandchildren, Billy Court, Brooke Court, Levi Perine, Cal Perine, and Seth Perine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Cox in 2002.
Due to the ongoing health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be private. She will be laid to rest in the 7th Day Baptist Cemetery near West Union, WV.
