Daniel W. Eakle, 87, of West Union, WV (Central Station Community), departed this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at his residence.
Daniel was born March 26, 1933 in West Milford, WV, a son of the late June and Martha (Butcher) Eakle. He spent his life as an auctioneer and he loved to sell produce in the West Union, WV area. He greatly enjoyed gardening and travelling and had attended the RLDS Church of Central Station, WV. Daniel was also a proud veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his children, Howard Eakle (Betty) of West Union, WV; Janet Eakle of West Union, WV; Danny Eakle of Weston, WV; Jennifer Price of FL, and Annie Kelly (Jim) of NC; son in law, Chris Cribbs of FL; grandchildren, Howard Jr. Eakle, Jamie Walton (Jason), Joshua Ferguson, Dean Eakle, William Howell, Bianca Howell, Zack Eakle, Dimeanna Crews, Matthew Cribbs, Thomas Cribbs, Jamie Eakle, Sabrina Price, Skylar Price, Dalton Price, Trevor Price, Mary Ann Kelly-Morrow, and Bradon Eakle; 14 great grandchildren, and his sister, Roberta Hensinger of IN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Cribbs and daughter in law, Kathy Eakle.
Visitation took place from 4pm-6pm on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV. In accordance with the health concerns of the community, all people must wear protective face coverings while inside the funeral home.
