Naomi Lee Dillon, 93 of West Union passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Naomi was born October 13, 1930 in Brohard, WV, daughter of the late Vernon and Ethel Merle McCray Haught.
Naomi graduated from Tyler County High School. She retired from the Wood County Board of Education as a Teachers Aide in Special Education. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the West Union Christian Church.
Naomi is survived by her two sons, Gregory Dillon and Becky, Washington, WV, Eric Dillon and Benita, Parkersburg, WV thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister, Christine Pierce, Warren, OH and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, William Jennings Bryan “Matt” Dillon on July 29, 2014; three sons, Shawn Dillon, William “Bill” Dillon, and Michael Dillon; one grandson, Jared Dillon; one granddaughter, Jodi Dillon; one sister, Arlene Bland; two brothers, Grant Haught and Gerald Haught.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home West Union, 212 Front Street West Union WV on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 11 AM – 1 PM with a Graveside Service being held at 2:30 PM at Hartley Cemetery 440 Hartley Ridge Road, Brohard, WV 26138 with Richard McMillan officiating.
