WASHINGTON – Today, the House of Representatives voted to formalize the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
Congressman Mooney voted in favor of the impeachment inquiry to continue the open and transparent investigation into President Biden’s involvement with Hunter Biden’s business dealings.
“I fully support formalizing an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. The American people deserve answers on President Biden’s involvement with Hunter Biden’s business entanglements with foreign countries. Unlike when the Democrats led a sham, pre-determined impeachment of President Trump, Republicans will follow the facts,” said Congressman Alex X. Mooney.
For the last several months, the Judiciary, Oversight, and Ways and Means Committees have been investigating allegations that President Biden was directly involved in Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.
The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, under the leadership of Chairman James Comer (R-KY), revealed Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC, received payments from Communist China. On at least three occasions Owasco PC made direct monthly payments to Joe Biden in 2018.
