Notice of Public Auction of Deliquent Lands
Notice is hereby given that the following described tracts or lots of land in the County of Doddridge have been certified by the Auditor of the State of West Virginia to G. Russell Rollyson, Jr., Deputy Commissioner of Delinquent and Nonentered lands of said County, for sale at public auction. The lands will be offered for sale by the undersigned Deputy Commissioner at public auction in the Doddridge County Commission Room beginning at 1:00 PM in the afternoon, on the 15th day of November 2022.
Each tract or lot as described below, will be sold to the highest bidder. The payment for any tract or lot purchased at a sale shall be made by check or money order payable to the sheriff of the county and delivered before the close of business on the day of the sale. If any of said tracts or lots remain unsold following the auction, they will be subject to sale by the Deputy Commissioner without additional advertising or public auction. The deputy commissioner sale may include tracts or lots remaining unsold from a previous auction not required by law to be readvertised and described for this subsequent auction of those same tracts and lots. All sales are subject to the approval of the Auditor of the State of West Virginia.

DEMOLITION PROJECT
Sealed bids for the Old High School Demolition Project will be received by the Doddridge County Commission, until 3 p.m., local time on Thursday November 10, 2022, and then publicly opened and read allowed by the Doddridge County Commission with the winning bid awarded at the meeting on Tuesday November 15, 2022 at 4:00p.m.
This project involves the demolition of existing and removal of structures located at 29 Stewart Ave. (Old High School), West Union WV 26456 and other miscellaneous site elements.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held Friday October 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Courthouse Annex located at 101 Church Street, Suite 1, West Union, WV 26456.

There will be no charge for contract documents, including technical specifications.
Bids shall be submitted to the attention of the Doddridge County Commission, 101 Church Street, Suit 1, West Union, WV 26456. No bid shall be accepted without the West Virginia Contractors License Number submitted with the bid.
Bidders on this work shall be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, national origin or physical disability, and bidders shall also comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act.
Any Contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indites, acknowledges that he/she holds a current WV Contractors license on the date of the bid opening, and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be preformed and acknowledges the guidelines of all applicable State and Federal Regulations.
The Doddridge County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein.
