Dedication of Doddridge County 

Early Learning Academy Set for June 2nd 

Superintendent Adam Cheeseman announced today that the dedication of the Doddridge County Early Learning Academy will be held June 2nd at 4:30 PM.  There will be an open house for the public to tour the facility prior to the ceremony.  State Superintendent W. Clayton Burch will be speaking at the dedication. 

In making the announcement, Superintendent Cheeseman said, “The Early Learning Academy demonstrates the commitment that citizens of Doddridge County have to education.  From the very first day of school children will know that they live in a county that cherishes them and wants them to succeed. “ 

The dedication will be followed by Mr. Cheeseman’s State of the Schools address and a Board of Education regular meeting. The facility is located at the old Cline Stansberry football field at the intersection of US Route 50 and State Route 18.  Light refreshments will be provided by Thrasher Engineering, the Architect of the Early Learning Academy. 

If you have not already enrolled your child for next year, please call Principal See at 304-873-3955.  Your child may enter Pre-Kindergarten if they turn four before July 1 or may enter Kindergarten if they turn five before July 1.
