Dear Doddridge County Voters,
I am seeking re-election to serve the people of Doddridge County as a Member of the Board of Education. My wife, Stacy, and I reside in the Long Run/Straight Up community. We are the proud parents of two children. Dawson is a junior at Fairmont State University, and Staclyn and her husband Jeremy White and their daughter Wilder and newborn son, Ryatt.
I graduated from Doddridge County High School and completed a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science and Biology at Salem International University. I am active in farming, agriculture, and local community nonprofit organizations. I encourage my children to participate in school activities, music, theater and arts, sports, 4H and other programs that stimulate participation, interest and growth. I am founder of and have been chairperson for the Mountaineer Creative Arts Council and Doddridge County Basketball League for the past 12 years.
I am employed at the Department of Justice in Clarksburg for the past 25 years. I served as the North Central WV Community Outreach Specialist and coordinator for community related programs with representatives of National, State, and local civic groups. I have a good and reliable working relationship with our county officials, business leaders, teachers, school personnel, and the many citizens of Doddridge County who continue to develop and improve our school system.
My goal is to prepare our students for the future by improving their quality of education, raising our expectations for each and every child, and providing the tools necessary to ensure Doddridge County students and staff consistently exceeds state requirements.
I will continue to devote my time to your interest and your ideas to improve education for our students. Thank you for your consideration. I ask for your influence, support and vote as I seek re-election to serve as Doddridge County Board Member.
