I would like to introduce myself to the voters of Doddridge County. My name is Jerry Braun and I reside in the Center Point area of Doddridge County. I built and operated the Rt. 23 Country Store with my wife Lois for 20 years. Lois passed away in 2017. I am a retired West Virginia State Trooper retiring with the rank of Sergeant. I also raised beef cattle on my farm for 30 years.
I am well qualified fo the position of County Commissioner. My prior
ownership of the Rt. 23 Country Store has taught me how to budget, hire employees and deal fairly and honestly with the public. Our county needs a Commissioner who is available 24/7. I am retired and feel I can do this for the voters. We should not have to work around someones work schedule. I will be available to address your concerns and issues as it relates to the county 24/7.
I intend to use good budgeting policies as well as increasing the revenue
for the county. I will work for all the citizens of Doddridge County. I will work with the County Commissioners to have good budgeting practices, increase county revenue in a positive way for our county, hire employees with a decent wage and set good policy for Doddridge County.
