Ottis (Ott) Morrison went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2021, from his residence. He was born July 19,1961 to the late Okie and Sarah Morrison of Salem, WV.
On June 19, 1981, he married the late Mary Jane Siders who passed away May 13, 2020. He is survived by one step-son, Ira Dallas Morrison, niece Sarah Walters, nephew Jimmy Walters and brother-in-law, Floyd Walters.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceeded in death two sisters, Seppie Walters and Amy McMullin.
Ott had been employed for several years by Coastal Lumber Company and recently employed by the Town of West Union.
Ott serve for 40 years as a member of the West Union VFD and over 25 years as a member of the DC Emergency Squad, as well as being member of the Salem VFD.
He was a member of Crimson River Baptist Church in West Union and loved hunting and fishing and his dog, “Cooper”.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Crimson River Baptist Church, West Union on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Denver Burnside presiding. Interment will follow in the Randolph Cemetery. Friends will be received in the Crimson River Baptist Church after 10 a.m. on Friday until time of service.
