CEC Donates to DCHS Baseball Boosters

On Monday, May 10th the Doddridge County Bulldogs hosted Trinity Christian for a regular season baseball game. Booster President, April Swentzel and Head Coach of the Bulldogs, Cary Schafer were pleased to host Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), West Virginia’s fastest growing engineering firm located in Bridgeport, WV.  Mr. Eli Gain and Mrs. Devanna Corley were on hand to throw out the opening pitches. Devanna Corley stated “CEC is pleased to contribute to the advancement of student athletes and the communities where our employees live, work and play.”  CEC was a leader in providing the first financial donation to the Doddridge County Bulldogs Baseball Booster organization. Mr. Gain stated “Doddridge County is home to me and my family, it is a privilege and honor to give back to the place I call home.” The donation helped underwrite the startup funds for the concession stand and new turf shoes for the players. Once the opening ceremonies were complete the Bulldogs began piling on the runs resulting in  12-2 victory in five innings. The Bulldogs will be back in action tonight as they travel to Morgantown to face Trinity Christian once again.
