Doll Club Celebrates Spring
Spring has sprung and the windy months are upon us. To celebrate, we have come up with a fun craft for Doll Club this month. Participants will receive all supplies needed to create a kite for their dolls that appears to fly! Girls will also receive their very own kite that can be designed and colored however they would like! For participants that have already registered, craft bags are ready for pick up here at the library. Please keep in mind that all Doll Club members need to complete their kite craft and send us a photo by noon on Friday, April 30th to be entered into our monthly prize drawing. Winners will be contacted to come to the library to pick up their prize.
All kids ages 4-12 are invited to participate in Doll Club and can contact the library at (304) 873-1941 to sign up.
LEGO Club Celebrates Spring
For the month of April we are asking all LEGO Club participants to create anything related to SPRING! You can build a bird, butterfly, tree, flowers or anything that reminds you of spring! Snap a photo of your build and send it to us via Instant Messenger before our prize drawing on Friday, April 30th. Winners will be contacted to come to the library to pick up their prize.
Kids ages 5-14 are invited to participate in LEGO Club. Registration is required, so please call the library at (304)873-1941 to sign up your child. Registering once lets us know your child will be part of the club and will not need to register or sign up again this school year.
April Senior Citizens’ Take & Make Craft: FLOWER CANVAS
We’d like to invite all senior citizen crafters ages 55 and up to participate in this month’s Senior Citizens’ Take & Make Craft. Craft bags will include supplies to create a beautiful 8X10 flower canvas (picture provided). You will receive all materials needed to create your canvas along with instructions. A hot glue gun is required to make this craft. If you do not own one, we are happy to loan you one upon pick up. Craft bags are completed and ready for pick up, but please note that registration is required and supplies are limited, to reserve call(304)873-1941
