On Sunday, December 6th, the 911 call went out for a fire on Elk Lick. One man, Bill Arbogast, was injured and transported to the landing Zone where he was transferred to the Pittsburg Burn Center where he later passed away.
McClellan, Smithburg and West Union VFDs responded to the scene.
It is unknown at this time the cause of the fire. The WV Fire Marshall is investigating.
