I realize that this is a little late for Thanksgiving, but here’s a shaman on Native American Spirit. A popular- deity among the Pueblo and the southwest U.S Kokopelli is one of the best known of all Indian Gods, His image can be found on all manner of cups, T-shirts, advertising and so on. His image is used in modern rituals. In some stories he is a trickster spirit and is part of the sacred mystery. Kokopelli is usually depicted as a hump backed stick figure who is playing a flute and dancing. He is a fertility symbol. Sometimes he leads a flock of mountain sheep. His connection to fertility makes him a giver of rain babies and animals such as mountain sheep. He is a hunter and trader. He is a Santa like figure with his hump being a sack of goodies. Early depiction of the many versions of Santa have him with a hump that evolved into a sack of goodies
