Roberta F. Burch, 92, of Greenwood, WV, departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Salem Genesis Nursing Home in Salem, WV.
Roberta was born October 5, 1928 on Sheep Run in Doddridge County, WV, a daughter of the late Elmore Leggett, Sr and Eva (Jones) Leggett. She spent her life as a loving and caring homemaker for her family. She was a member of the Britton Gospel Mission Church and Roberta greatly enjoyed attending church. She loved being with her grandchildren and helping out her neighbors.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Burch (Becky) and James Burch, of Greenwood, WV; grandchildren, Belinda Robinson (Randy) of Pennsboro, WV; Ricky Burch (Hanna) of Pennsboro, WV; adopted granddaughter, Johna Greg of Mineral Wells, WV; great grandchildren, Chasity Blankenship; Tiffany Robinson; Rylie, Trinity, and Connor Greg, Rylie and Braelyn Burch; great great grandchildren, Lazarus, Emma, Kenzley, Easton, and Waylon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Jr. Burch and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will take place 1pm, Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Point Pleasant Cemetery near Oxford, WV with Rev. Gilbert Neely officiating. Visitation will take place from 5pm-8pm on Wednesday, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV. Due to the health concerns of the community, masks are required to be worn while inside the funeral home.
