DCHS Homecoming 2020

Plans for Doddridge County High School Spirit Week November 2-6.

Homecoming 2020 will look very different this year.  With social distancing requirements in place, Homecoming will be limited to a school-wide celebration.  Spirit week kicks off Monday, November 2nd, when Freshman and Juniors will honor America with “Americana Day” and will dress up in Red, White and Blue.  Our Sophomores and Seniors will celebrate “Americana Day” on Thursday.  On Wednesday, Freshman and Juniors will wear our school colors to show their spirit.  On Friday, Sophomores and Seniors will have their turn to show their school colors and pride. Unfortunately, other staples of Homecoming (Parade, Pep Rally and Dance) will not occur next week and will have to be postponed until after the pandemic ends.

Our Homecoming football game will be held on Friday, November 6th.  Our opponent will be Tygarts Valley.  Since we are Green on the State Educational Map, then grandparents will be able to attend the game as well as immediate family members.

Our Homecoming queen, Queen Joan LXIX, will be crowned at halftime.  Of course, all of these details are subject to change.

We celebrate our Homecoming Court for 2020!
