Editors’ Note to the Doddridge County Residents

UPDATE: I placed the Note below earlier today after discussing the issue with Debbie Davis, Director of the Doddridge County Health Department, of the test counts of those tested out of county or those having an out of County address such as Salem or Pennsboro.

A few minutes ago Ms. Davis messaged me to basically stand down the prior note and said “They (the HD Nurses) have checked with State and whatever has to be fixed is how it comes in electronically to state.” (That is a quote.)

So even you do contact the DCHD via phone or private message, it sounds like it will not help … so sorry to all involved ….

But know that I still wonder how many of our citizens are being tested and are being counted somewhere else — TB

Earlier Post: To the residents  of Doddridge County who have already been COVID tested and have Harrison  or Ritchie Co. Addresses or  those who have been tested out of county –

Our County desperately needs to have an accurate count of those who have been tested.

Many of you have been tested but currently there doesn’t seem to be  any way to confirm if you have been added to Doddridge County count if you have an out of county address (Salem, Wallace, Pennsboro) or were tested out of county.

So, if you have been tested out of County or have an out of County address (Salem, Wallace, Pennsboro), PLEASE contact the Doddridge County Health Department preferably through Facebook Private message to confirm that you were tested, where and when —- If you do not have access to Facebook, please call 304-873-1531).

Otherwise, if you have not been tested the DC Health Department will continue to offer the FREE COVID testing AT THE DC HIGH SCHOOL: Today, Sunday, October 18th…. MONDAY OCTOBER 19TH 8:00 AM – 12:00 NOON TUESDAY OCTOBER 2OTH 8:00 AM – 12:00 NOON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 21ST 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM THURSDAY OCTOBER 22ND 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM FRIDAY OCTOBER 23RD 3:00 PM – 7:00 PMSATURDAY OCTOBER 24TH 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM SUNDAY OCTOBER 25TH 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

I don’t know if this will bring the County numbers up but but having an accurate count is important in getting our schools reopened and moving forward with our lives.
