DODDRIDGE CO.LIBRARY CLOSED BUT WIFI IS OPEN

   The Doddridge County Public Library closed Friday, March 20, 2020 and will remain closed until further notice.  This difficult decision was made by our library board and staff in part because of local and state advisement regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, but especially because of a strong recommendation from the The Association for Rural & Small Libraries. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and we deeply regret closing our doors but we want to do our part to protect the public and our staff. During this time, you can still return materials through our night drop, though overdue items and/or fines will not be assessed.

In order to use these services, you must have a library card. Please call the library @304-873-1941, leave a message, with your name and phone number, we will return your call as soon as we can. We would love to help you use these free services.

   We have also opened our Wi-Fi: DCPL    Patrons can sit in our parking lot and use our Wi-Fi to download our books and music, to do homework, or whatever else you need.

   We are continually monitoring the situation, and will be re-evaluating both programing and other aspects of our services as the situation evolves so please follow us on Facebook for all library updates. We miss our patrons and hope to see all of you again soon. Please take care and stay safe.
