A Message from DC Schools and Updates– April 13, 2020

Good morning Doddridge County,

I hope you had a terrific Spring Break! Food delivery is already in route this morning and distance learning instruction fires back up today. We totally understand that there are folks without power so PLEASE do not fret or worry! It will all be ok. Keep the faith and stay strong!

Update: An important message regarding Doddridge County Schools:

Currently all West Virginia Schools are closed until at least until April 30th. We will continue to provide meal delivery to our students on the Monday and Thursday schedule. Our remote educational learning program will continue until our students return. As we continue to transition to remote learning our teachers will be reaching out to students and parents to inform everyone of their plans for the next few weeks. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our students. Please encourage your children to maintain social distancing and good hygiene.

We currently plan to have summer school in our school buildings. However, if this is not possible, we will continue with remote learning.

We are also planning on having a graduation ceremony for our graduating Seniors once we are able. We will release more details once we are able.

Thank you so much for your support during this time. Please remind your children that we love them and miss them and that we can’t wait for them to come back at school. Our community is strong and we value your support and understanding.
