D.C Emergency Squad Partners with D.C. Board of Education
On June 15, 2023, Doddridge County Emergency Squad Inc. signed a NOU with the Doddridge County Board of Education to provide ambulance coverage to all have Varsity, Jr. Varsity and middle school football, track, and cross-country events. Our crews will also be providing a trainer, EMT or Paramedic for all other home and away sporting events. Executive Director Kris Barron says that the Doddridge County Emergency Squad make giving back to their community a high priority. We want to see our student athletes have the health and care that they need at every sporting event. John Travis, Dr. White, and Stephine Stemple will still continue their roles in the sporting events. We will simply be an additional asset to their roles. The events that they do not comer, out staff will be there providing care. All of our staff underwent additional training over the summer to expand our knowledge in the sport’s athletic trainer field. We will be providing this service at no cost to the Board of education or the taxpayer.
