 Danny Wayne Bunner

 Pennsboro WV, fell asleep in death on March 13, 2023, at his home with his loving wife and soulmate by his side. Danny was born February 13, 1948, in Pennsboro, WV a son of the late Lucille Bunner Powell. Danny attended. Doddridge County High School. From there he served in the Armed Forces for 3 years in Germany and Vietnam. He had three children whom he loved very much. He worked for CSX Railroad starting in the Salem, WV tunnels and from there transferred to Willard, OH, where he retired after 38 years as a Car Foreman. After retiring he moved back to West Virginia where he spent many happy years with his wife Paula. He enjoyed hunting, growing blueberries, asparagus, Irises and spending time on his farm just piddling as he called it. But what was most important to Danny was being a longtime faithful servant of Jehovah God and helping others to see the wonderful promises held out in the Bible. He also loved to help his spiritual family in the congregation as much as he could.  Danny is survived by his adoring wife Paula of 24 years. His beloved children: Dan Bunner Jr. (Cathy) of Johnstown, OH; Eric Bunner (Leslie) of Willard, OH; Cynthia Bunner of Shelby, OH. and his grandchildren whom he loved very much: Logan, Haley, Scarlett, Donavan, Kayden, Alyssa and Ariana, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his siblings: Caroline Moore of Ellenboro, Sheila Collins (Tony) of Harrisville, Sandra Reed (Steve) of Pennsboro, Linda Davis of Morgantown, Sherry Bunner and Robin Bunner both of Fairmont, WV. In addition to his mother, Danny was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Bunner, Timothy Bunner, infant sister Cathy Bunner and stepson Alex Lawrence. Memorial service for Danny will be held on April 29, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4178 Sunnyside Rd. Family will be there at 1:30 to greet friends. Also, a video of Danny’s life will begin at 1:45 and shown again after the service. There will also be a meal served afterwards at the Ellenboro Fire Hall in Ellenboro, WV.
