Michael Lee Smith
Michael Lee Smith, 66, of West Union, WV, departed this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at WVU Medicine, Camden Clark.
Michael was born August 22, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Donald Lee Smith and Agnes (Dotson) Smith of Parkersburg, WV. Michael had a great love of all music and he greatly enjoyed playing his guitar. He also had a passion for riding motorcycles. He had a great love of cars and worked as an auto body mechanic. He enjoyed working on all things and being creative. Michael was also a karate sensei black belt and was a wonderful dad to his sons.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Joseph Smith of Brooksville, FL and John Cornelius of West Union, WV; his granddaughter, Zarah, and his sister, Beverly Walker of Marietta, OH.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Baker.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, at the McCullough Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV with Pastors John and Chad Kopshina officiating. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm on Friday, at the funeral home.
