Judith Ann Bagley, 75, of Alma, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV, surrounded by her loving family.
Judy was born February 17, 1947 in West Union, WV, a daughter of the late Walter Monroe and Elsie Muriel (Britton) Myer. She worked and retired as a chemical operator from Union Carbide/OSI after many years. She also worked at the former West Union garment factory. Judy was a life member of the Fairview Church at Wilbur. She greatly enjoyed sewing, painting, crafting, crocheting, and sitting on her porch. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Joanna Lynn Beckman (Richard) of Charleston, WV; Jason Edward Bagley (Jennifer) of Alma, WV; Janella Renee Broughman (Nelson) Sistersville, WV; Julie Ann Cottrill (John) of Alma, WV, and Jennifer Denise Guire (Tom) of Mabie, WV; along with 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Angela Bagley of Pennsboro, WV, and sister in law, Mary Myer of Alma, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William G. Bagley in 2000; son, James Robert Bagley in 2021, and brother, Jerry Myer in 2018.
Funeral services will be 11am, Monday, February 6, 2023, at the McCullough Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Bearsville, WV. Visitation will take place from 4pm-8pm on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the funeral home.
