Joyce Anne Nazelrod
August 30, 1950 – January 17, 2023
Joyce was the daughter of the late Barbara Jean Hurst and Robert Elwood Hurst. She left this life the morning of January 17, 2023, to join loved ones that went on before her in Heaven. Her philosophy was leave them better then you found ’em.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Zelma Kay Swiger; one brother, James Edward Hurst; four husbands, Frank Raines, John Thomas Shaw, Dean Franklin and Eston Nazelrod; two life partners, Howard Hart and Howard Braithwaite.
She is survived by one sister, Laura Hurst Nestor; one brother Robert Hurst, and wife Vicki Hurst; five nephews, James (Jimbo) Hurst, Jason Hurst, Jeffrey Hurst, Jeremy Swiger and Jordan Swiger; a daughter and son-in-law Jean Everson and James Everson; four grandchildren , Barbara Eakle, Jerry Eakle Jr. and wife Paula Eakle, Thomas Eakle and wife Seka Eakle, and Lucus Everson; seven great grandchildren, Selena Meade, Christian Meade, Nicolae Meade, Alexzander Meade, Nevaeh Eakle, Angel Eakle, and Christian Pennington and she will be missed by her long time Christian friend, Charles Ritter.
