Leah Mae Muldoon (nee Sweeney)
It is with great regret that the family of Leah Mae Muldoon (nee Sweeney) said the final goodbye to their beloved mother on November 28, 2022, after a brief illness – only months away from her 96th birthday. She was born in Doddridge County, WV on March 14 1927, to Richard Lee Sweeney and Vena Hill Sweeney. Preceded in death by her husband, William F Muldoon (1918-1996), son Thomas Scott Muldoon (1948-1952) and her siblings. She is survived by three daughters Melodie Mae Robinson of Mobile, AL; Robin Vena Yunker (Bruce, Mobile AL); Jody Lea Brozo of Destin, FL. Grandchildren: W. Scott Listuon (TX), Mary Robinson (UK), Ian P. Yunker (NC), Donnie Galli (FL), Nicholas W. Yunker (IL) and Jesse Galli (GA). Ten great-grandchildren: Catherine R. Listuon (AL); Owen Yunker, Ewen Yunker, Addie Yunker (of Ian and Emily Yunker, NC); Morgan Galli, Julianna Galli, Isabella Galli and Jax Galli (of Donnie and Jennifer Galli, FL); Lilianna and Antonio Galli (of Jesse and Antonia Galli, GA) and extended Sweeney family in SC, CO and WV. We will miss her silly giggle and unconditional love.
Leah was a 1945 Graduate of Doddridge County High School.
Her family requests that you hug those you love and extend kindness to all as it costs nothing, but the rewards are great.
