Meeting called to order at 5:02 PM
Oath of Office — Prior to the regular meeting, the Oath of Office was administered to the newly elected board members (Denver Burnside, Chad Evans, and Laura Cottrill) by Mrs. Michelle Robey, Human Resource Manager.
The meeting was called to order by President Denver Burnside at 5:02.
The Invocation was led by Ken Heiney.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Kaleigh Dotson.
Approval of Agenda
Superintendent Cheeseman held the approval of the agenda until after election of officers.
Election of Doddridge County Board of Education President and Vice President
Motion by Chad Evans and seconded by Laura Cottrill to retain the same DCBOE President and Vice President who most recently held those two positions as well as the Appointment of Responsibilities previously held by each board member. Presentations :
Scott Swann and Jessica Sell, representing Rank One Computing, presented information that would increase Doddridge County Schools’ safety measures.
There were no delegations.
Superintendent’s Update — Superintendent Cheeseman reviewed a memo from the State Superintendent of Schools stating Doddridge County received a rating of “Meets Requirements” for all efficiency indicators.
Kaleigh Dotson, Chief School Business Official, presented a financial report including the School Cash Online Program (online payments/communication tool).
