Meeting called to order at 5:00 PM

The meeting was called to order by Superintendent Cheeseman at 5:00 p.m.

The Invocation was led by President Burnside.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Laura Cottrill.

Following the executive session Mary Catherine Tuckwiller, (Dinsmore & Shohl Law Offices) updated the Board on West Virginia code and law as it pertains to the upcoming Board of Education election in November 2022.

Appointment of Responsibilities were made:

Superintendent’s Update

Superintendent Cheeseman updated the Board the new fiscal year began on July 1st therefore the new financial protocols are now being followed (superintendent will have final approval of all requisitions). He also briefly discussed upcoming constitutional amendments to be voted on by the citizens of West Virginia, two of which would affect the educational system.
