The Doddridge County Family Resource Network is requesting support for the 2023 Rise Above Scholarship. Established in 2022, in collaboration with the Holistic Child Department at Doddridge County Schools, this scholarship is intended for a student needing extra support to pursue post-secondary training and/or education. Graduating student who has at least a 2.0 G.P.A., appears to need additional support and encouragement to continue their education/training and exhibits a financial need that is not being met through other sources will be considered as an applicant by the Holistic Team. With generous financial contributions from Doddridge County community members, we awarded a 2022 Rise Above Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to Mr. James Johnson to aid with tuition and expenses as he pursues a degree in music education at Glenville State University.
