Headley and Lamb Arraignment

On July 20th, 2022, the Arraignments for Michael Headley (X Sheriff and X Magistrate) and Angela Lamb (X Assistant) were held in the Courtroom of the Honorable Judge Thomas Bedell, Fifteenth Judicial Circuit,  in Harrison County, WV. 

Headley and Lamb were earlier indicted at the July 2022, Doddridge County Grand Jury, Headley for two counts of Fraudulent use of a P-Card, one count each of Conspiracy and Falsifying Accounts and Lamb for 15 counts of Fraudulent use of a P-Card,  one count of Conspiracy and one count of Fraudulent Schemes. 

Both Headley, being represented by Daniel Glover and Lamb, being represented by Zachery Dyer, pled not guilty to all charges. 

Judge Bedell noted that if found guilty, Headley could face not less than four years and not more than twenty-five years in jail and a $20,000 fine with Lamb possibly facing not less than seventeen years or not more than ninety years in jail and the fine of $85,000. 

Bond was held at the original amounts set by the Doddridge County Magistrate Court and Mr. Burnside of the Harrison County Courts, will be their probation officer. 

They will be required to follow the instructions agreed to in the Bond paperwork including check ins and not leaving the State. At the request of Lamb’s attorney, she was given permission to travel out of State for personal business trips but only after consulting Mr. Burnside.    

August 29, 2022, Jury selection will take place for the joint trial, with the Trial being held at the Doddridge County Courthouse the week of September 12, 2022.
