COMMISSION TAKING BIDS
MIDDLE ISLAND CREEK SNAGGING AND CLEARING PROJECT
The DODDRIDGE COUNTY COMMISSION is accepting sealed bids for the cutting and clearing of brush on that certain right-of-way known as the Middle Island Snagging and Clearing Project, beginning at the mouth of Doe Run, or Corporation Line, on the west side of the creek, and beginning on property formerly belonging to D.L. Shaw on the side nearest Route #18, to extend down Middle Island Creek on both sides to the lower end of the project near the Tonkin Station right-of-way.
Your bid is to be submitted to the Doddridge County Commission, 108 Court Street, Suite 1, West Union, WV 26456, by 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 7, 2022. All sealed bids will be opened by the Commission on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. Specifications are available for review in the office of the Doddridge County Clerk from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

“NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING”
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled a public meeting on June 15, 2022, at 10:00 am to discuss the Draft Fiscal Year 2023 Intended Use Plan for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program (CWSRF). A part of the Intended Use Plan is the Fiscal Year 2023 Priority List. The meeting will take place in person at the WV DEP’s Headquarters in Charleston, WV. An option to attend remotely or call-in is below. A copy of the draft Fiscal Year 2023 Intended Use Plan is available, and may be requested by calling, writing, or sending an email request to the address below. The plan can also be viewed on DEP’s web site.

Doddridge County Floodplain Permits
(Week of May 16, 2022)
Please take notice that on the (16th) of (May), 2022, (Mountain Valley Pipeline, LLC) filed an application for a Floodplain Permit (#22-616) to develop land located at or about (3532 Big Issac Road). Coordinates: 39.201016, -80.553280. The Application is on file with the Floodplain Manager of the County and may be inspected or copied during regular business hours in accordance to WV Code Chapter 29B Freedom of Information, Article 1 Public Records and county policy and procedures. Any interested persons who desire to comment shall present the same in writing by (June 27, 2022) (20 calendar days after the announcement at the regularly scheduled Doddridge County Commission Meeting) delivered to the Floodplain Manager of the County at 105 Court Street, Suite #3, West Union, WV 26456.
