Meeting called to order at 5:00 PM

1. Opening Items: A. Call To Order: The meeting was called to order by President Burnside at 5:00 p.m.

B. Invocation: The Invocation was led by Superintendent Chee- seman.

C. Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Adison Hernandez, DCHS Cheerleader.

D. Approval of Agenda: Motion to approve agenda. — Motion by Laura Cottrill, second by Angie Curran. — Final Resolution: Motion Car- ried — Aye: Chad Evans, Denver Burnside, Laura Cottrill, Angie Curran, Justin Holtz

2. Presentations — A. DCHS Cheerleaders: The DCHS Cheerleaders were recognized for their participation in the West Virginia State Cheer-leading Competition. Each member of the cheer team received a certifi- cate of achievement from the Superintendent.

3. Delegations– There were no delegations.

4. Reports: A. Superintendent’s Update — Superintendent Cheeseman briefly explained the WV Efficiency Indicators used by the WVDE toevaluate individual counties. Doddridge County received ‘Meets Require- ments’ on all eleven indicators.

Doddridge County is #1 on the Five Year Graduation Rate list for 2020- 2021 in the state for the third time in four years with a 100% graduation rate.

Superintendent Cheeseman also recognized Keri Hurst, DCES Kinder- garten Teacher, as a new National Board Certified Teacher in Early Lan- guage Learning Pre-K to 8th Grader

B. DCES LSIC/Faculty Senate Annual Report — Chad Ash and Keri Hurst presented the DCES LSIC/Faculty Senate Report which included a discipline referral graph by grade level, mention of monthly teacher team and professional learning meetings, development OF flex grouping where students work with different teachers in their individual problem areas, third grade food collection for holiday food baskets for county families in need and a pajama collection drive for the county foster care program, fourth grade pet supply collection for the Humane Society and a day of interacting and reading to the animals, as well as a Helping Hands Western Week to raise funds for the DCES benevolent fund which raised $3,000.00.

C. DCMS LSIC/Faculty Senate Annual Report — Chris Cress present- ed the DCMS LSIC/Faculty Senate Report which included introduction of new employees as well as those working in new positions this year, student learning testing/growth, after school tutoring program, career ex- ploration and exploratories, extra-curricular fall sports, band and choir programs, History Bowl activities, dance team competition, weekly PBIS program including the annual holiday bazaar, 12 Days of Christmas Spirit Days, and Winter Celebration.

D. DCHS LSIC/Faculty Senate Annual Report — Katrina White pre- sented the DCHS LSIC/Faculty Senate Report after recognizing the LSIC members in attendance, Tessa King, Jacob Rabel, Christie Curran. Her report included testing & evaluation of student progress since the return to in person instruction, Christmas Tree Decorating Competition, classroom door decorating contest, field trips for FFA, Travel WV and support oflocal outreach programs (food pantry, nursing home visitation) conclud- ing with a video highlighting the students and the various activities so far this year.
