Due to the increase of COVID cases in our county, we have decided to do Doll Club a little differently this year.

Here is our plan moving forward starting Monday, September 13th and continuing the first of every month:

Step 1 – Call us (304)873-1941 or stop by and get your child (ages 5-14) registered for this club. Registering only once, you may participate throughout the school year September – May.

Step 2 – Come to the library and get a Doll Club Craft Kit.  You can work on it here at the library with our help or take it home to complete. When you finish your craft, bring it to us (if working on it in the library) and we will snap a photo for facebook.  You can also send a photo of your completed craft via instant messenger, which we will then post to facebook.  Either way gets your name entered into our monthly prize drawing.

Step 3 –  We plan to have craft kits ready at the beginning of each month.  Keep watching facebook and the newspapers to know when they are completed and ready for pick up.

Please be assured that we are taking every precaution we can to keep everyone as safe as possible. We will keep watching the numbers and when we feel it’s safe to resume in person programming, we will be excited to do so.

Due to the increase of COVID cases in our county, we have decided to do Lego Club a little differently this year.

Here is our plan moving forward starting Monday, September 13th and continuing the first of every month:

Step 1 – Call us (304)873-1941 or stop by and get your child (ages 5-14) registered for this club. Registering only once, you may participate throughout the school year September – May.

Step 2 – Come to the library and get a Lego Kit full of Legos provided by the library along with your monthly challenge. You can work on it here at the library or take it home to complete. When you finish your challenge, bring it to us (if working on it in the library) or drop your creation by the library and we will put it on display.  You can also send us a photo of your completed challenge via instant messenger for us to post to facebook.  Either way gets your name entered into our monthly prize drawing.

Step 3 – If you drop your creation by the library, bring your kit with whatever unused LEGOS you have left and we will exchange it with a fresh clean batch of LEGOS along with the next month’s challenge.

Please be assured that we are taking every precaution we can to keep everyone as safe as possible. We will keep watching the numbers and when we feel it’s safe to resume in person programming, we will be excited to do so.  Keep watching the newspaper/ facebook for any new updates.
