Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

Did we not learn anything in our history? Oh that’s right their not teaching history now.

Bay of Pigs? (President Kennedy).

Benghazi? (President Obama, Vice President Biden, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton). The ambassador, Chris Stevens, his very small security team were deserted as the radicals attacked. The leadership in D.C. watched it unfold and did nothing to aid the ambassador the civilians.

How about Saigon? (President Ford).

What about Tehran? (President Jimmy Carter).

Now Kabul! (President Biden)

When vacating a hot spot, would it make sense to remove the non-combatants first? Then, disable the military hardware or if not removed leave in a non offensive, non useful state? Then focus on evacuation of the combatants?

Prevagen, Joe! Try something you are not used to, THINK!

I fear this is not over. During the Obama / Biden administration how many attack’s at home did we suffer?

The radicals will be emboldened to pickup where they left off here.

Machetes, rented vehicles running down pedestrians on sidewalks, pressure cooker bombs in large crowds were used during that time frame.

The only reason to remind of past attacks is to make aware that on this 20 year anniversary of the 911 attacks and the fall of Kabul, beware.

Observe, pay attention to things not normal to you. Don’t be paranoid, but report the unusual.

The bad guys attacked us in 2001. The bad guys attacked the compound in Benghazi. These guys will be no different toward our way of life.

Live, but be alert.

I have little faith in our leader’s ability to make rational decisions pertaining to our security. The evidence is in the campaign speeches last year and flip flop after gaining office.

Executive Orders shutting down jobs, causing prices hikes, wasting money on frivolous impractical ideas and gun control.

I believe we will need our guns to defend against the onslaught of criminals both “foreign and domestic”. (Congress) Joe Manchin what do you think?

I know this is going to upset a lot of people. At this point in time I really don’t give a hoot. One of the things that we’re not supposed to look at is history,

The woke portion of our society has pushed for removal of our history reminders.

The removal of monuments, looking for faults in history to change the history of our growth as a nation and as a people.

The woke society runs mostly on emotion not necessarily fact.

Case in point, to make the evacuation of Afghanistan appear to be more politically correct to meet a deadline. The military was pulled out of Afghanistan prior to evacuation of American citizens.

Our military hardware was left supposedly for the Afghan army which has falling into the hands of the Taliban.

Good job, Joe! You will have the right to take credit for pulling out the military and shoulder the weight of the Afghanistan debacle.

Now your saying this was all planned.

I suppose your woke world will give you the Nobel Peace Prize. They gave it to Obama for nothing. Now they can give you one for screwing up! You have earned it.

You may have a higher body count than Cuomo, and all of the unintended consequences.

President Biden has performed so poorly for the benefit of the people of the United States.

Look at the southern border.

Look at the stand taken prior to the election during the campaigning and look at the contradictions in his actions after January 20, 2021.

Look at the shutting down of the Keystone pipeline and now asking for OPEC to boost oil production to counter the petroleum price increases.

During the campaigning for his position as president, Joe Biden, expressed zero faith in the vaccine. Now he wants everyone to be vaccinated and take credit as though it’s his idea. Another contradiction?

We the people are not important to the White House or the Congress.

pan·dem·ic — adjective (of a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world.

pes·ti·lence — nounARCHAIC — a fatal epidemic disease, especially bubonic plague.”neither prayers nor demonstrations halted the advance of the pestilence. (Sounds like the January 6th committee).

Our representatives in leadership’s stupid positions are a pandemic of pestilence.

The swamp is swarming with political pestilence. We need to chlorinate the swap.

That’s the only way to control the pandemic of pestilence.

Your vote is the disinfectant.

We had four years of prosperity. Now, we are looking at four years of disparity.

Nicely done y’all!

I’m sure the Biden voters and ballot printers are very proud of their choice!

Ladies and gentlemen thank those who provide our freedom safety and security, thank the ones who are there in our emergencies.

I do.

Pray for those left in Afghanistan. May they make it home.

Who builds a detention … OOPS, I mean a “pre-K” facility while a worldwide pandemic is going on? And with such security measures and little if no public input or oversight … and by public I don’t mean our ‘elected’ official-dumb … and what does the ‘K’ really stand for? Of course it might come in ‘handy’ as a quarantine holding pen, if such a thing were ‘needed’. How convenient to have a location surrounded by water and high fencing, but of course they plan on taking the fence down … eventually.

While you digest those imponderables, you might have noticed that large electronic sign board on the high post that went up in the middle of the highway going into Clarksburg. There’s one standing mute as you approach Parkersburg too. In fact they are everywhere across the US as you would enter ‘or exit’ one of our cities. The only time I saw the one outside of Clarksburg used was to ‘advertise’ the Governor’s lock-down orders … in other locations they might also let the public know about a road closure or simply to have a nice day and wear your mask. I’ve noticed they all seem to be positioned along stretches of straight highway where they could be used as signaling devices for aircraft runways. Hmmm, they spent a lot of money and took a lot of advance planning to manufacture and erect these otherwise useless pieces of equipment. One could wonder ‘who’s’ military might ultimately find these useful? The UN? China? NATO? Of course that would only be for ‘humanitarian’ reasons to keep us from hurting ourselves.

Remember when ‘Poppy’ Bush said, “If the public ever found out what we’re doing they’d hunt us down in the streets and tear us limb from limb?” Who are the ‘us’ he’s referring to? The unelected official-dumb who run our rigged election system from the White House on down to your local school board? Something to ponder while hiding from a ‘bug’ manufactured in China. Another interesting fact to consider … Only 1% of the Chinese population has been vaccinated … Hmmm, and Traitor Joe is pushing for all Americans and our military to get the jab?

No one should get there feathers in a twitter about any of this thought, because at this point we just have a lot of questions, no one’s pointing fingers … YET. However the more suspicious minded among us are probably already doing some advance planning of their own.
