Energy Express Week 2
This week of Energy Express has been a blast! The Elementary school played lots of fun games like Freeze Tag, Cookie Monster, and Color Tag. They have also done lots of fun art and STEM projects like making Me Bodies, paper plate suns, paper airplanes, and setting off Coke and Mentos! At the middle school, they played games such as Wiffle ball, line tag, an egg toss, and had a water day. They also made bracelets with UV beads, drew self-portraits, and made drawings starting with five random lines. We also had a great trip to Sandcastle waterpark! The kids got to ride water slides, play in the splash pad, and swim in the wave pool! We can’t wait for all of the fun things that are just around the corner!

Energy Express Week 3
This week of Energy Express was a complete blast! The Elementary school played many different games including; Tag, Duck Duck Goose, and Color Tag. Elementary students have also participated in different art activities making rock families, paper bag puppets, family quilts, and set off Coke and Mentos. At the Middle School, students participated in dodge ball, football, and wiffleball. They also made family banners, painted family trees and also planted beans. We also took a wonderful trip to Baylor Beach in Ohio. The kids got to play on a playground, ride water slides, and play in the water! Us mentors also did some community service this week, painting the bus circles at the Elementary and Middle Schools. Us mentors and students can’t wait to see what fun things are up next!
