2021 4-H Day Camp

Last week, Doddridge County 4-Hers spent Monday through Thursday at the Doddridge County Park for Day Camp. It wasn’t their traditional camping style as COVID claimed that again this year, but there was still plenty of fun to be had. 4-H members participated in several activities, classes and programming throughout the week and spent plenty of time over at the new Doddridge County Park Pool & Splash Pad. The week kicked off with a United States Flag Demonstration by VFW Member Bill Stewart. Education about Bees was presented by Mike & Dene Ryan of Ryan Farms. Raptor Rehab joined in the fun to teach us all about their Raptor Rehabilitation program. Games, crafts, swimming, rain…..lots of rain….and so much more!

Doddridge County 4-H would like to send a special thank you to the Doddridge County Park and Mr. Greg Cottrill and his staff for continuing to partner with 4-H year after year. We’re especially appreciative of your assistance in helping us meet all our COVID guidelines and providing a safe place for our camp. How How to Doddridge County Park!!
